We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our team on a high-end, £13 million fit-out project located in Westminster. This is a site-based role, ideal for a proactive individual with a deep understanding of document control systems, particularly Asite. Familiarity with Snag R and R Drive is also highly desirable. You will be working closely with the technical team, ensuring smooth and precise handling of project documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Document Management: Oversee the document control processes on Asite, ensuring all project documentation is up-to-date, organized, and easily accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Team work: Work closely with the technical team, facilitating access to critical project information and providing documentation support as needed.
- System Expertise: Utilize Snag R for snagging and defect management, and manage R Drive file storage, supporting efficient project data access and usage.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain compliance with company standards for document accuracy, version control, and organization.
- Reporting: Generate and distribute regular reports on document status, approvals, and outstanding actions to project stakeholders.
- Training and Support: Provide guidance to team members on document control procedures and software systems.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Document Controller, ideally within high-end fit-out projects or similar construction environments.
- Strong expertise with Asite document control software; knowledge of Snag R and R Drive is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, able to work collaboratively with the technical team and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a site-based role and manage multiple priorities with ease.
