Lifting Operations Manager (Appointed Person)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Lifting Operations Manager that has worked on large residential schemes before. The desired Lifting operations manager will be responsible for the management, organisation, planning and control of all aspects of a lifting operation. We are looking for someone who has worked their way up from a crane operator / supervisor and has strong working knowledge of lifting operations and safe working.
Responsibilities:
– Safe planning and execution of lifting operations across site
– Creating / updating the lift plan
– Carry out approval of all risk assessments, lift categorisation and method statements
– Assess site conditions and equipment and make recommendations based on the type of task being carried out.
– Ensuring compliance to the lift plans and ensuring all operations are being conducted in line with legislation and site standards.
Requirements:
– CPCS (A61) or NPORS (N401) tickets
– SSSTS or SMSTS preferred but not essential
– Minimum 4 years experience on high rise developments working in lifting operations as well as appointed person.
– Excellent team player with strong communication skills
– Good IT skills
– Previous experience working on projects with several cranes operating at the same time.
