Salter Grange is currently recruiting an M&E Contracts Manager to join a leading MEP Contractor delivering innovative projects within the Residential, Commercial and Data Centres sector.
Ideally, candidates will have boast experience working as a M&E Contracts Manager on large-scale industrial and commercial projects and come from a Mechanical background.
As a M&E Contracts Manager you will manage the delivery of a projects and project teams from early design phase to handover and oversee the installation/management of Mechanical &Electrical systems on site.
The successful M&E Contracts Manager will oversee 3-4 projects with values from £300k to £5M.
M&E Contracts Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the site management team to ensure timely project delivery.
- Maintain regular communication with clients through online or face-to-face meetings and on-site discussions to ensure satisfaction with progress and upcoming work forecasts.
- Ensure site teams work efficiently and meet high-level objectives within target dates.
- Verify that site teams are using the correct revision of drawings.
- Collaborate with the project coordinator to ensure all high-level templates (e.g., material trackers, programmes, lessons learned) are prepared for the construction team.
- Procure plant and equipment in line with specifications and client requirements.
- Track costs (material and labour) in collaboration with the commercial team to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
- Assess labour and subcontractor requirements for various installation tasks and support team development and expansion.
M&E Contracts Manager Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Proven ability to manage site programmes and schedules to meet deadlines.
- Experience managing multiple subcontractors and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work closely with the design team to ensure high-standard project delivery.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally with clients.
