Salter Grange is recruiting for MV Cable Jointer to join an Electrical Engineering company specialising in MV&LV electrical cable installations and containment solutions for a wide range of projects in Europe.
As an MV Cable Jointer you will oversee the completion of the project cable installation package on large-scale developments.
We are recruiting for: Germany, Denmark, Italy, Sweden and the Netherlands.
The successful MV Cable Jointer will be looked after with accommodation, flights and a 3-1 rotation along with a competitive salary.
MV Cable Jointer Role:
- Perform medium voltage (MV) terminations up to 36KV.
- Execute MV industrial electrical installations and maintenance.
- Conduct MV glanding and termination of various cable types, including AWA/SWA, XLPE, PILC, and MDPE.
- Certified to perform terminations using Nexans Euromould/Monoi and Tyco products.
- Proficient in various MV cable testing methods, such as megger and VLF.
- Strong understanding of MV drawings and cable schedules.
- Supervise trainees and assist with their on-the-job training and development.
- Collaborate with site teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Maintain a right-first-time work ethic.
- Report any known defects.
- Possess a comprehensive toolbox necessary for MV industrial electrical installations.
- Flexible and willing to work in various locations across Europe.
- Participate in Health & Safety training provided.
