Façade Design Engineer

Salter Grange are currently working with a specialist consultancy who are looking to add to their team based in the City of London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design complex façade systems that are both aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound
- Perform detailed engineering analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and performance of façade systems
- Work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality façade solutions
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks to maintain the highest standards of workmanship
- Incorporate sustainable design principles into façade solutions to enhance energy efficiency and environmental performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in façade design and engineering
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhino
- Strong understanding of materials, construction methods, and building codes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with stakeholders
- Chartered Engineer status is a desirable but is not essential
