Salter Grange have partnered with a main contractor for the recruitment of an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the fit-out stage of a prestigious £23 million cut and carve commercial development in the London Borough of Southwark.
This role demands a hands-on leader who can successfully navigate the challenges of a complex, fast-paced fit-out phase, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and delivery on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of the fit-out stage for the £23m commercial project, ensuring alignment with the design vision, budget, and timelines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers
- Develop and maintain detailed programmes, tracking progress and implementing effective corrective measures as needed.
- Identify and manage project risks while ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Take responsibility for project finances, driving value engineering opportunities while maintaining the integrity of the design intent.
- Lead, inspire, and manage the site and project team to deliver exceptional results.
Requirements:
- Proven track record managing high-value cut and carve or fit-out projects, ideally in commercial developments
- Strong understanding of complex fit-out projects, including structural modifications and finishes
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and engage stakeholders
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with construction regulations and standards
