Senior Planner

Salter Grange is currently recruiting for a Senior Planner on behalf of a leading construction company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across various sectors. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and delivery of major construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules and plans
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Utilise planning software and tools to optimize project delivery
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Planner in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques
- Proficiency in planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field
