Marty commenced his journey in recruitment back in early 2012 and has built his career with two of the construction industry’s most reputable recruitment firms. Starting out as a Recruitment Consultant he eventually reached Sales Director in his most recent company where he successfully built up the UK white-collar division to become a key player within the construction recruitment sector. Having a combined 12 years of consulting experience along with managing and building successful teams that have delivered talent to companies operating in the UK, Ireland, and European markets, has led to the creation of Salter Grange.
Marty is passionate about the construction and property market having also studied Estate Management at University. Marty’s goal is to support his clients – whether they are a multinational tier one contractor/developer or an up-and-coming construction company/real estate firm. In the recruitment process, Marty’s aim is to improve Salter Grange’s client’s time-to-hire and build teams that are both effective and a great cultural fit.
Marty prides himself on having a proven track record of delivery for his own clients and has successfully built highly accountable recruitment teams to service various sectors within the marketplace.
Away from the recruitment world, Marty has a passion for all types of sport and leadership in particular Gaelic Football, and continues to play competitively. The sporting world has provided him with the basic principles and drive to pursue his goals and vision with clear intent and commitment. Having captained teams throughout his life, he believes nothing can be achieved without the strength of a team ethos, and this is one value that is at the core of Salter Grange.

An outgoing and energetic character with over 10 years experience within the construction recruitment industry.
Paddy started his recruitment career in Australia where he joined a blue-collar agency and made them one the largest in Sydney whilst also and overseeing the opening of their white-collar division.
Since returning from oversee he now heads up our production decision with a key focus on Project Managers, Construction Managers and Project Directors.
Experienced account and operations manager with the ability to oversee new and current client accounts and managing the full end to end delivery.
An outgoing and friendly character Paddy would say his biggest strength is really getting to understand his clients pain points and actively working with them to achieve the best outcome.
When he’s not at work you will find him chasing around after his 2 young children, going on city breaks with his wife or trying to find the time to improve his golf game and get that handicap down!!

Charlie has a construction background coming from a family of tradesmen, he worked as a labourer for many years growing up. He graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with a degree in economics and finance starting out in a finance-based role. However, he wanted to get back into construction industry due to the culture and character of people within, he particularly enjoys recruitment and speaking with the diverse range of people and listening to their strengths, weaknesses and needs to help identify the best move for them.
Outside of the work environment he has a passion for sport, playing Gaelic football for many years and also enjoying long distance running. Sport has helped him improve important skills such as discipline, persistence and building strong connections.

Bernadette is a Finance Graduate, her recruitment journey began early summer 2022 with Salter Grange. Working in hospitality, healthcare and customer service prior to this gave her the chance to work with a wide range of different people, making communication the focal point of her workday. Currently, Bernadette oversees technical and design roles at Salter Grange. She is passionate about engaging with design candidates and encouraging people to explore the contractor side of the industry. Bernadette’s goal within recruitment is to build a strong network of people and help them to reach their full potential in excelling in every aspects of their profession.
Outside of recruitment, Bernadette is deeply involved in fundraising for charities by organising community sales, running the Belfast Marathon and volunteering at local centres. Bernadette also enjoys reading personal development books – “everyone should aim to be the best version of themselves”. Gaining insights surrounding human behaviour and how we best communicate sparked the interest for Bernadette to start her recruitment journey.
